The whole ethos of the Museum rests upon it being part and for the community. To support that we especially welcome school visits to encourage children of all ages to connect with local history. Additionally we offer several formal and informal talks either in the Museum itself or out in the community for those who are physically unable to visit us. If you have a keen interest in local history, why not come along to a meeting of the Local History Group in the Museum one Friday evening? Equally you may prefer to join one of the free guided walks offered by the Wimbledon Society as part of its varied spectrum of activities. Of course, all of these things are only made possible through our army of volunteers who make their time available to help others enjoy Wimbledon. Would you like to join us?
