Arrow Heads found on Wimbledon Common

Prehistoric People lived and hunted on Wimbledon Common. Many of their flint arrowheads and other tools have been found. Some of those on display in the Museum have been dated to 100,000 BC, which means they were made and used by Neanderthal people.

The Iron Age Hill Fort C.800 BC is today called Cesar's Camp. The Romans never came here!
